Cindy Adsit

Assistant Executive Director

 

The 2008-09 school year marks Adsit's 23rd year with the WIAA, making her the longest tenured assistant executive director in the Associations history.  As an assistant executive director, Adsit oversees the baseball, basketball, cheerleading, and volleyball programs for the Association.  She is also in charge of directing all state championship events, producing the WIAA handbook and manages all out-of-season coaching/participation issues.       

Before joining the WIAA, Adsit worked for the Seattle Parks Department for nine years.  She has served as a Washington state basketball and volleyball official and is a former Executive Director of the Northwest Sports Foundation and former Director of Basketball for the 1990 Goodwill Games.

During her career with the WIAA, Adsit has had an opportunity to oversee every activity and every sport with the exception of football and wrestling.

Adsit, a native of Montana, received her BS in Nutrition from Montana State University in 1978, while competing on the intercollegiate volleyball and basketball teams for MSU. 

Cindy, an avid outdoorswoman, historian and horse owner lives in Ravensdale.
