The primary purpose of this position is to provide leadership in the ongoing development, implementation, management and assessment of the District’s athletics, physical education, and health programs. Staff development, curriculum management and the recruitment and facilitation of district athletics, physical education and health programs are also the responsibilities of this position.
The Director of Athletics, Physical Education and Health, must have proven leadership skills in planning, supervising, director, mentoring and leading teams, as well as managing workload allocations and the performance of the team. The director must establish effective communication with WIAA, school athletic directors, school administrators, and the Chief of Secondary Schools.
