Stanwood Athletics Mission Statement: “Together the Administration and Athletic Department of Stanwood High School is committed to work with the athletes, their parents, and community to promote and pursue excellence in education, sportsmanship and citizenship through all levels of competition.”
Preferred Qualifications Include:
• Current Hands-on CPR/First Aid Card
• Concussion Training
• High School coaching experience required
• Understanding of WIAA Coaching Standard Requirements and Regulations
• Professional dedication for athletic development/expertise in coaching
• Excellent personal character and commitment to students and school community
• Demonstrated skill in sport supervision, teamwork, and program organization
• Demonstrated organizational and motivational skills
• Demonstrated abilities in communication and community relations
• Demonstrated skills in program development
• Demonstrated ability to work with students, staff, administrators and parents
• Strong background in wrestling
