Position: Middle School Boys Basketball Head Coach

Description The Bush School is in search of an individual to join our Athletic Department as the Middle School Boys Basketball Head Coach. We are seeking a candidate who is able to support the school’s mission of diversity and inclusion and who has a background that demonstrates an understanding and appreciation of intercultural fluency. We are building a team in which diversity of experiences, backgrounds, and talents are valued in order to work with a diverse community of students, faculty, staff and families. The Bush School athletic program works within the rules of the Washington Interscholastic Activities Association (WIAA) and the CrossTown Middle School League to provide athletic opportunities and competition for students of all gender identities. While most sports are offered separately for boys and girls, the Athletic Department staff is committed to working collaboratively with each participant to determine options that best suit each student-athlete’s journey.

The Middle School Boys Basketball Head Coach oversees all aspects of the Middle School Boys Basketball program at The Bush School, a member of the CrossTown Middle School League.

The season begins the week of October 31st and ends on January 20th. Practices take place on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 2:00-3:30 p.m. unless otherwise announced. Contests are typically played on weekdays at 3:30 p.m., or 4:00 p.m. at local home or away gyms.
