WIAA Set to Host Bowling State Championships

RENTON, Wash. – The 2011 WIAA/Dairy Farmers of Washington/Les Schwab Tires 2A/3A and 4A State Bowling Championships is set to begin competition, Friday, Feb. 4, and conclude Saturday, Feb. 5 at the Narrows Plaza Bowl.
This year’s individual tournament will feature 144 bowlers competing for the individual state titles in 2A/3A and 4A. Games are scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. on Friday with the individual awards scheduled for 4:30 p.m.
The team tournament will feature 16 teams bowling on Friday and Saturday. Eight teams will contend for the 2A/3A championship and eight more will battle for the 4A championship. Games will begin at 10 a.m. on Friday and resume at 8 a.m. on Saturday. Team awards are scheduled for 10:30 a.m. on Saturday.

Tickets will be sold at the event and prices are as follows:
One Day Ticket: $9 - Adults, $7 - Students and Seniors All Tournament Ticket: $15 - Adults, $10 - Students and Seniors Seniors 62 and over are admitted at the student rate. Students ages 5 through high school are student rates (HS/MS students with ASB). Children under the age of 5 are admitted for free.
