WIAA, GESA To Present Game of the Week on NFHS Network

RENTON, Wash. - With high school sports back underway in Washington, the WIAA has partnered with Gesa Credit Union to highlight some of the great competition taking place around the state. Beginning Friday, Feb. 26, Gesa Games of the Week will be selected to air live on the NFHS Network, free to view for all fans. Each broadcast will be produced in partnership with the Eli Sports Network.
Any viewers new to the NFHS Network will simply need to create an account to watch these selected games free of charge. In addition to the Gesa Game of the Week, the NFHS Network has partnered with the WIAA and schools around Washington to broadcast dozens of games each week. A subscription to the Network allows fans to watch unlimited games around the country for a monthly rate of $10.99, or $69.99 for an annual pass. All games are available at www.NFHSnetwork.com and through the NFHS Network Mobile Apps for iOS and Android and our TV Apps for ROKU, Amazon Fire and Apple TV.
“We are thrilled to partner with Gesa Credit Union and Eli Sports to help promote the return to sports we have all been waiting for,” said WIAA Executive Director Mick Hoffman. “The NFHS Network is a great resource that is growing in our state and will help families and communities connect with education-based athletics.”
The Gesa Game of the Week will kick off with a football matchup between Capital and North Thurston at 8 p.m. on Friday. Next week’s highlighted matchups will include Camas at Prairie in a girl’s volleyball contest on Wednesday, March 3 at 7 p.m. as well as a local rival football game between Puyallup and Sumner on Friday, March 5 at 7 p.m.
